Family Protection Benefits

Newborn Benefits are offered when at least one natural parent has been a member of Catholic Knights for at least 30 days prior to the birth or stillbirth of a child. Application must be made within six months of the newborn death or stillbirth

Newborn Benefits

• Prenatal Benefit:  Adult members receive $1,000 benefit payment if the stillbirth of a child occurs at least 20 weeks after conception.  A
• Newborn Protection Benefit:  Any child born to an adult member is provided with $2,500 of temporary life insurance protection, at no cost, from his or her first through 59th day of life. 
• Guaranteed Protection Benefit:  Starting with the infant's 60th day of life, regardless of health, a child born to a Catholic Knights member is eligible for $7,500 of life insurance coverage.  The application must be made and the first premium paid before his or her 60th day of life.
