Spiritual

As a Catholic fraternal, our faith is our common bond. It is central to who we are and what we do. So, naturally, we draw upon that faith during good times and during difficult times.

Members First Prayer

Prayer Intentions

Bruce from New Berlin writes:

My cousin had surgery on Christmas Eve to remove a mass of tissue (tumor?) from his brain. Surgery was quite successful and the lab results are not in, yet. The doctor feels he got all of the tissue causing problems and Larry is recuperating in Neural ICU at St. Luke’s. He has quite a bit of lingering trauma from the surgery. He is not able to use his right side very well. His speech is slowed and much more deliberate. He will have therapy daily to help him restore his faculties. I ask for continued prayers for his positive progress.

Terry from Milwaukee writes:

Please pray for my brother Bill who will be undergoing invasive surgery on Monday December 14 to remove a tumor located around his ear into head which has been progressively growing. Please pray for God to give his doctors the wisdom and ability to perform the surgery safely and successfully, and provide my brother with strength, courage, and continued faith in God before, during, and after the surgery. He has a wife and 3 young children and a large extended family who need him, and love him very much. Thank you for your prayers.

As an employee of Catholic Knights and a member, I would like to request prayers for my husband as he has been out of work for 5 months. He is a good man, hard worker and is having a difficult time dealing with the time off and absolutely no jobs to be had. In 5 months he hasn't even had one company interview. His company closed their doors so over 225 people are in the same boat. Many of these people have great backgrounds.

I am going for a biopsy on Wed., April 22 for possible pancreatic cancer.

It could be still possible that this is not fatal but a simple stone. Pray to the Lord that He takes this cup from me. Although I am ready to be with the Lord I have made a commitment to my wife to take care of her through our old age. And I want to fulfill this promise. Pray that the Lord will let me be free of cancer.
