A key part of Catholic Knights' mission is to assist Catholic parishes and schools throughout our local communities. In addition to contributing funds directly to parishes and schools, we also offer the following fundraising and other programs to help build strong Catholic institutions.
The 403(b) program is a qualified plan and allows for pre-tax payroll deductions by employees to be invested in a tax-sheltered annuity contract or in a custodial account made up of mutual funds. These contributions, along with earnings, grow tax-deferred until retirement, when distributions are then taxed as ordinary income.
More than 500 Catholic institutions throughout the Midwest have been helped to help build, remodel and refurbish their church and school facilities. Parishes may use these loans to construct new buildings and additions or renovate and remodel existing space, or to refinance existing mortgages.
